托福独立写作搞定让步段的步骤

大多数同学在备考托福时都应该会有这样的疑问，到底托福独立写作主体段要写几段？要不要写让步段呢？
1. 托福独立写作主体段到底写几段？
的确，有的同学的确凭借2个主体段，获得了够用的和理想的分数，但是少之又少。为什么呢？
这个问题大家自己都可以理清楚。托福写作既看逻辑也看语言。逻辑上要扣题，语言上要准确地道。同时，字数不得少于300字。实践经验告诉我们，在保证没有语法错误且内容有效的情况下，字数越多越好，内容越丰富越好。
那么写两段的劣势就很明显了。一段一个主题论点，你要想把这两段写好，满足字数要求，甚至字数越多越好的话。你的论点逻辑性，段落的组织安排，语言表达的准确和地道是否都能够满足要求呢？更不要说，大部分同学的写作功力并不扎实，甚至都没有练满20篇真题练习。在考场上，考生为了凑字数而凑内容，内容都是同样的句子意思进行重复堆砌。那作文的扣题性、语言的准确和地道、展开讨论的严谨和逻辑都会大打折扣。
理清了主体段写三段的这条路径，我们来解决第二个问题：
2. 要不要写让步段？
答案是：让步段是一篇完美托福写作的必要非充分条件。
首先大家去研究很多native的独立写作范文，会发现绝大部分得到一个理想的分数的高分作文，都是有让步段的。在很多学生的考试经验中也得到了印证，基本上26分以上的学生都会写一个让步段。
3. 让步段到底是什么呢？
让步段的功能一句话概括就是以退为进。
小小的退一步，看似是在打自己的脸，其实，不过都是演技。在狡猾的退让中争取更大的利益，最大程度地削弱弊端和对立面，从而更好地证明自己的论点。“退一小步，进一大步”，以退为进地加强自己的立场。
大家可以设想一个我们日常聊天或者辩论比赛的场景。当我们选择一个话题进行讨论的时候，无论我们怎样深入，逻辑的严密性都会存在一个问题：任何一件事情都会有正反面。如果我们在谈话的过程中，自身的问题和另外一方所提出的质疑都避而不谈，那么他永远不会相信我们所说的任何观点。
这就是我们为什么要使用让步段的原因：打消对方的顾虑，使得我们的观点更完善，逻辑更清晰。
有些同学可能会说，我写语文议论文的时候都没想过的问题，怎么在英文写作里面游刃有余呢？好难。
办法其实很简单：“换位思考”。
4. 让步段的四大得分点
内容上讨论了论题的正反面，更加充实；
削弱了对立面，扣题性增强；
加入了critical thinking，逻辑更加严密；
写作手法上有了更多变化。
5. 那么，怎么来写一个让步段呢？
1）简单来说，“三步走”。
假设自己的是反方，承认反方会提出的反驳论点；
然后进行转折让步；
最后进行削弱。
2）在写法上，具体可以分为与支持面的让步，和与对立面的让步。
与支持面的让步，就是我承认自身却有不足，但利大于弊，我可以解决这个弊端。
大家赶紧拿起小本子来记一下模板：
承认自身不足：
Admittedly，支持面may have one drawback that ...
稍加解释不足：
For instance/for example, ...
但整体利大于弊：
However，its overall merits far outweigh its demerits ...
弊端可以规避：
As a matter of fact, as long as
解决方案, the negative effects can be totally avoided.
However, the problem can be solved by …

2）与对立面的让步，就是我承认对立面的确有优势，但是它不如我方或者有潜在问题。

有潜在弊端
