写作思路：

1. 题目中提到了两个“what”类的问题：

What is it in the mass media that has negative effects on teenagers?

What measures should government take to solve this problem?

2. “不平均分配”写作，文章分成五段: 第一段引入“mass media”这个话题话题，第二、三、四段并列，分别给出“mass media”中对青少年有危害的内容，第五段指出“政府应该采取的措施”

3. 媒体中对青少年有危害的内容

（1）媒体中充斥着暴力场面和不良报道

The mass media has become a source of violent scenes and gruesome reports.

暴力 violence

血腥场面 gruesome sights

犯罪分子被英雄化 criminals are glorified

受害者的痛苦被忽略 the victims and sufferings are usually ignored

（2）青少年受到成人影碟、色情杂志和网站的影响

The availability of adult-only videos and sexually explicit pictures on magazines and various websites

性行为 sexual activities

堕胎 abortion

（3）年轻人容易冲动，常常上了各种媒体上的广告的当

Be tricked by advertisement in various medias

买不需要的东西：purchase unnecessary things

尝试新的生活方式 practice new ways of life

追求奢侈的生活 pursuit luxurious lifestyles

4. 政府应该采取的措施

（1）更加严格的审查

strict censorship

（2）严格限制色情内容的传播

Access to pornography should be controlled

（3）禁止小孩进入网吧，或是禁止他们登陆某些网站

Children should be barred from Internet cafes

（4）对青少年进行性知识、犯罪、广告知识的普及和教育

massive educational programs to inform teenagers of the truth about sex, crimes and advertising
